Started riding when I was 14, in 1964. First bike was a 1956 Allstate 250 split single, built by Puch Then upgrade to an 1954 AJS G18CS that I acquired as a basket case, and my father and I rebuilt over a winter. Then came a 1950 AJS G18S. After a short break away from 2 wheels while I spent some time with Uncle Sam's canoe club, I came back to riding with an 1973 Yamaha TX750, then went to a 1977 XS750. Then came family raising and I got away again. Now the kids are all gone and I now have a 2002 GL1800 Gold Wing, and a 2005 Roadstar that has been jetted and Cobra piped.
