I got started at 9 years old, and by the 3rd bike I was tearing them apart and fixing them, making trades and getting bikes that didn't run to fix them.
'70 Honda CT 70 (still have it, and 2 more like it)
'7? Yamaha GT 80 2 stroke (got in trade for a R/C car)
'7? Yamaha 250 2 stroke road bike (bought for $5 w/ seized engine. found a nut wedged betwean the crank and case. Got it running spending only $12 for new gaskets)
First (legal)road bike
'81 Kawasaki 440 LTD (totaled at 60 mph by a left turning 72 Plymoth Scamp)
'80 Kawasaki KZ 750
12 year break raising kids etc.
'87 Kawasaki 454 LTD
'00 Roadstar 1600
'08 Wildfire 125 4 stroke dirt bike (for my kids)
I had a bunch of other non running bikes in the early years, but only listed the ones that I kept and got to ride for a while.

wow my list would be so long....are we just counting the ones that ran?
I started riding at 14 in 1966 so I've seen it all pretty much, both on and off road. In the end though other than my Roadie (the one you own now is ALWAYS your favorite!) my two favorites werea a Honda 450 and a Yamaha 750.
the Honda 450 was a 1974 and it was just so solid, so reliable that I used to tour on it. Strap on a backpack and go. I used to run LA to the Bay Area in a weekend. Light, fast and fun.
The Yamaha 750 was a 1978 3-cylinder. Much the same as the Honda but smoother, faster and just more of everything. It was interesting as it had triple discs, shaft drive, 3 cylinders. Great stuff.

Lets see, my first bike was a two speed 2 cycle moped ran maybe 25mph, next came a 5 hp fox mini bike legal for the road and would run 45 mph. then i picked up a honda super 90 wow that was cool i was 17 then, next came a 250cc 2 cycle yamaha big bear..oh boy hold on. Then i got a honda 305 dream, slow but sure was pretty, after that was a honda 450. Didn't ride for 30 years. Then got a 2005 kaw 805 classic, scared the crap out of me. Started off on a minicycle with a Briggs lawnmower engine in it.
Moved to an old 1960's Honda Moped my pops brought back from Bermuda
in 1980 I got a Puch Moped (always cracked up at that name)
1981 got a used Elsinore 125 I am pretty sure it was a '73 and man I wish I still had that bike.
1982 picked up a '78 Honda Hawk (used) I think that was the year.
1987 moved up to a '82 Honda Magna 1100 (used) Once again pretty sure that was the year.
1989 Rode but did not own an '85 883 Sporster for two years (no power after riding that 1100)
1994 Bought my first brand new bike a Honda Magna. They came out that year with the CBR engine in a cruiser style. I rode it into the ground (commuter)
2001 Intruder '99 (used)
2008 RoadStar '03 (used)
Various Dirt Bikes throughout. Just sold an '05 Honda CRF 450X and am currently riding an '07 Kawasaki KX250F.
Man I just love looking at some of the names and sizes of the bikes you guys have run. Fun memories.

OK Here goes.
Honda SS50 Moped (Thank god i got rid of this one)
Ducati 160 (best bike I ever owned, blew up the engine after a year, after this I realized you have to add oil once in a while, hey I was 17 and stupid)
1960 BSA C15 250 (still have it)
1959 Triumph T110 650 (still have this one too)
1977 Triumph Bonneville 750 (still got this one as well)
1978 Triumph Bonneville 750 (neatly stored in a box)
1998 Yamaha Vstar 650 (sheesh, I still have this as well)
2006 Roadstar (and of course I still have this beauty)
I think some of them have to go next year, either that or my wife may insist that I go.

Man. I'm feeling old. Not a Cushman Eagle in the bunch.
Hey, I had one of those old Allstate (Puch) 250's way back when. It was a 1958 model. Back in those days the Sears Catalog was about the only bike shop we had.
When the metrics first hit the market I bought a little Yami 90cc street bike. Somewhere along the line I went through a Honda 250, a Suzuki 550, and a Honda 750. Like a lot of you guys I took a long break from riding. Now I'm on the Roadie.
