No one has yet to tell us WHY it's off! I hope the LEO's radar is calibrated by the Motorcycle Speedo Mfg's. Wouldn't that be fun

Have you tried searching the net for regs and laws? Called the DMV maybe?

I'm not sure what they will say other than you are required to obey the posted speed limits and it's your responsibility to ensure your equipment is "Accurate".

I think my best bet would be to call the MFG or the dealership?

You may get a ticket for going too slow on the interstate but you wont get one for speeding because of the speedo if it is lower than the actual speed..I would like to hear about your gps findings on the odometer as that should be your legal leg to stand on if there is one as far as the warranty goes since you have to sign an affadavit when you sell stating the actual mileage I would think. Also the speedsensor is set up to count the revolutions of 5th gear and I think it uses a transducer to detect the revolutions .Since it is an electronic device they use +or- 5% as a rule of thumb for accuracy in electronic readings and since the scale would be 0 to 120 mph then 6mph would be 5%off anywho thats how I see it my math sometimes sux so jump in anybody and correct me ...Coug
