1st bike - 1983 Yamaha 400 Maxim. Bought it off a guy who inherited it from his dad. It had sat in the barn/garage for at least a couple years. Crazy thing fired up on the old gas (hardly gas anymore) right away once the battery was charged! The bike is still in the family, my dad bought it off me and he's since loaned it to his brother for a learner.
2nd bike - 1980 Honda 750CB Custom. A friend found it for me sitting in some guy garage. Similar story to the first bike, that is having sat for a while. Took a little bit of TLC to get things up to riding standards but that bike did me well. Even when it was my only means of transportation (drove it 365 up in the rainy west coast). Eventually my dad & I did a total tear down to clean up the cosmetics of the bike just for fun. Did a total repaint ourselves, figured it was a good bike to try our hand at painting since I wasn't going to keep it forever.
3rd bike - Renai, my 2003 R*! Love it, love it, love it!! I seemed to be following a pattern of essentially doubling the motor size of my bike with each upgrade (400 -> 750 -> 1600). I think the pattern stops here though
Don't think I'd want to go bigger than this!
