I don't have one, but thought I'd mention the obvious. Canon has a $250 rebate on new ones now through year's end if bought from "authorized dealer" (as seen at B&H). Looks like a nice unit. When I bought my last DV camcorder, I got a display unit at a big box store - new as far as warranty is concerned and deeply discounted. Just a thought.
