Multiple Pics??? 2 Months, 1 Week ago
|
|
Hello! Was wondering how I could post multiple pics on a post? I only see that you can put one, and would like to put more. I've seen it done, just haven't done it! Guess I still need to re size though

You just stack one pic code on top of the other. You don't do it in the sig pic box. You do it in the message body.

After you copy and paste the URL for the first pic, then go to the end of the URL string and hit the enter key a couple of times to open up a space between your pics, and then put in the IMG tag again, and copy/paste the next pic's URL.
Like this:
[.img][./img]
[.img][./img]
[.img][./img]
[.img][./img]
(without the periods, of course)
(edit: I goofed and put "url" instead of "img." Sorry...)

Sorry, not very computer literate. Isn't img to put images in, and the url for web addresses?

You are correct, my fine feathered friend....
IMG for images.
URL for web links.
Just stack them up in one post.

Well you're partially correct ....
If you link to images on another site, then you can stack the images as the previous posters have indicated.
If you use the Select Image file to attach under the Message box, then you are limited to one image which is uploaded to the Clinic.

Now that's what I was wondering!!! Thanks to everyone, now I'll have to give it a go. Just out of curiosity Doc, if they are linked to another site, do they show up as In Tampasvt's pst "New Photos" Post, and would you have to re size to fit the site or does it not matter as it's imported. Sorry, I'm a Sculptor not a Computer tech...

When you're attaching pics (not sig pics) we ask that folks be reasonable and resize the photos they take with their cameras. These photos are usually quite large and pose problems for both those with dial-up and with smaller monitors (need to scroll back and forth to see the whole pic).
I would recommend no larger than 800 pixels wide, with 600 pixels being a good compromise between resolution and clarity. The size should generally be less than 80 kb. If done properly the KB has very little effect on visual impact at those resolutions.
I agree with Frank ... you do nice work.
