Re:Stock tire life expectancy 2 Months, 1 Week ago
I got about 14000 miles on the front, and only 8400 out of the rear on mine. I bought my met's me880's online. I got them for a little over $200, I put them on myself. Putting them on was fairly easy, it only took me a couple of hours. Just line up the dots on the tire with the valvestemm and you should be pretty good shape. IMHO

I've got the stock Bridgestones and under 6,000 miles on the bike, but the rear tire is nearly bald. Front tire still looks brand new.

My dealer has the best prices. They only charge $25/wheel to change if you buy from them. When I replaced my rear last time, they misquoted me to my benefit. Got Mezler 880 WWW for the rear for $125. Tax and install, OTD was $155. Think they were supposed to quote me $180. I've gone there and 4 years ago, I could get these tires front and rear OTD for $300. I imagine those days are over.

I am a devoted Michelin user on my Auto, does anyone have any input on their motorcycle cruiser tires?

i tried a set of michelin commanders on mine.

they´re a good all-round tyre, but nothing really special. if you´re a michelin fan, i can say fit them as they cause no problems with a roadie and they last well.

but IMO the ME880´s are far better!
