It would bother me as well, but the truth is we all except the risks when we get on our bikes and we all make choices on how to ride. If you did not except his challange it would have been someone else.
S*&t happens just be glad it was not you that layed the bike down. Don't mean to sound cold but it was his choice and he initiated the action that caused him to go down. It bothers me to here anyone going down but the truth is at least I feel it is, that the majority of accidents happen from guys riding just to fast and not riding more defensivly. And even doing everything right there is still risk so why push it?

You are right Frank. Here in Lebanon, mo same temps. Met a buddie who has an Electra Glide Classic ( won't hold that against him ) road to Marshfield vie I-44 heavy traffic to bike shop called Steel Thunder. Went to Ziggys for lunch and took back roads home. Pure pleasure. Bob

Oh yeah: It wasn't your fault. You were riding your motorcycle and he was riding his. You weren't trying to push him or race him, so 100% of the blame rests with him. Don't beat yourself up, pal.

I agree with Frank (again), you know your limits, he should know his. Take a breath, you did what most of us would have done. He probably thought how smart you were to slow down when he saw you standing there, and hopefully he will be the one to slow down next time. We learn from our mistakes and sometimes they are written in blood.

I didn't even know what Cerulean was, figured it was a shade of blue the way Frank used it and I was correct. Embarrased I know what Taupe and Mauve are, thanks to my wife .

Talking about weather. Great weather here. Highest temp is today 85F, into the lower 80s and 70s soon.

Still mid-forties for the lows and upper seventies for the highs... This is unbelievably fantastic weather for this time of year!

Low 40's this morning with lots of FOG, took the truck to work. Went home and swapped for the bike at lunch. I put on my bright Yellow rain coat for the ride back to work, now the fog is gone, and it's suppposed to hit 65 yet today. Woo hoo!!
