Thanks!! I'm not taking piano lessons anymore. I finally decided that if I was going to learn to play the way I wanted to play, the only way to do it was to just DO IT. Glad you enjoyed it!

Electric Shadow is a cutie, isn't she? AFAIK, she's just a fan, though. She's got some kick-ass tunes too.

Come on you girls... Its going to be in the 40's here next week and I am still riding.
Its starting to get a little chilly now, lower 60's but not enough to put on the riding suit.
I use my First Gear Riding Suit, Full face helmet and some really good gloves and down the road I go!
And my bike isn't all heated up like Java's...

It's supposed to SNOW today in GB, but it will warm up again next week into the low to mid 40's so I will most likely keep riding until they throw down the salt on the roads. I have a new bike and don't want salt to eat away at it all winter. No matter how hard you try, you can't get it all off unless you strip the bike down to parade rest and clean each part individually. I'm not into that, not yet.

Yep, no snow salt for me either, I see they are trying something new here, some kind of liquid antifreeze, no sure how thats going to work out. But I don't ride on white roads.

I lived in Iceland for 3 1/2 years and they used crushed lava rock, worked great but it would wear out your tires real fast. No corrosion on the painted surfaces, didn't stick to the body or undercoat, and there was plenty of it all over that they didn't have to import it. I use a liquid on my sidewalks and drive, it's sort of hit and miss and it gets sticky on the bottoms of rubber boots or shoes with soft soles.

Doesn't bother me much. Some mornings, last week, were 28F. On the other hand, I don't have a 30-mile commute.

Hey what's a BUMP? I've seen it on a few threads, what is it, or what's the reason for it? Anyone?
