The starting picture!
Well I had planned a few days ago to do an Iron Butt. Well bike is in shop, dealer loaned me one and said go for it! So, in 2 hours i got ready as well as i can and I am going to honor all Service people, that's my theme. I'll take A google Map route from Leavittsburg, Ohio to Virgina Beach Va. I have my laptop and BB with internet data so i can plug up and post on breaks. You know the rules. Follow along in this tread. Although I won't post much for time reason, I will post if I stop to eat. But, you might see me! I will wear my normal suit but have a White Royal Star Delux. Pics I hope soon or from Va Beach and any Vet Monument I find along the way. The real story will be this weekend on Sunday. My landing spot is Warren Ohio VFW on High Street at the Birthday Bash for MARINES! Semper FI Marines and all service people! MC! Departing at 1630 and VA Beach is half way! this is suit I will wear whole trip. White Bike. 06 type. Saddleman Sisssybar Pack on rear seat. POW MIA Pin ans USMC pin Over heart on jacket.
I know it's risky, middle of deer season, Rain on the way. Not as risky as what Servicemen do every day.

I've done 3, one official. Should've gotten sleep before you leave. Hope you did. Best to start these things after waking up from a full nights sleep. Also best to leave when no traffic will be on the road. Rush hour stinks when you're trying to make time. Weekends are best. A tour deluxe will be good with the cruise control.

I used to live in Chesapeake, VA. If you like hot wings you need to check out Wing King on the corner of Kempsville and Indian River Roads. I eat there every time I get back to the area. It's right next to a Blockbuster Video store.
Man I love those wings!!!!
