Looking for Hand Guards or Fairings 2 Months ago
Does anyone have any suggestions for Hand Guards to protect from the wind on these winter rides? I can ride in 35 degree weather and the only thing I can't keep warm is my fingers. I have looked at heated gloves, but the good ones aren't cheap and I'm not sure how well they would work. I even thought of a fairing for the winter, but cost and looks are two things I don't like.

I got a good pair of gloves and if need be you can get them little hand warming packs to slip inside them. Just gotta find some gloves that are windproof and have 50 or more grams of thinsulate in them. I got the hand warmer packets in the sporting goods section of Target...cheap.

You can use the handle bar muffs like they use on snowmobiles.

Thanks, I tried the Hand Warmer packs but they don't help my fingers. It must be a circulation problem, part of getting older. I found some 12V glove inserts that have heating elements up the fingers, but they are over $100. I may have to bite the bullet and buy them. I was hoping to find some guards that would keep the wind off.
