Custom Builder winning, It's aluminum. I figured you either pay for polishing or DIY. Had no idea he offers powder coated though. I never did figure how to see the site. Although I did find page you sent me to. Just nothing loaded. I'm just happy the guy makes them and happy dealer is willing to buy it and try it. 13K miles and I have only ridden a few hundred with it running right. Now winter shows up and I have to wait for dry roads to gun it and heat it up. Snow on Monday.

Ben has a running thread in the vendors folder on the RSP if you ever want to ask him any questions.

I finally found what you were pointing me at. Charriot Manifold for sale. Duh, Sold! Naaa Dealer asked him all the questions, he knows a lot more to ask than me, like 40 year Yamaha Mechanic that owns 50% of dealership. If Bens Ok by him he's ok by me. I just know he gave dealer super service and dealer was very happy that he makes that Manifold. Although Custom builder gripe a bit, seems he uses a lot of em also as he is one who turned dealer that way.

I am 2nd one who dealer had same problem with 1700 sealing. We just wonder what could be the cause. It has always been sealed when I got it back and then it breaks a leak after like first real heat up. He hopes aluminum will hold more solid. Me too.

I am really curious as to how they perform because it seems that is about the only after market manifold around. I might consider getting one myself if the work good. Seems like there would be a lot of heat transfer because of it being all metal. Just a thought maby one could be made out of fiberglass. Hey look I just broke 3000.
