What's the big deal? I drive like that just to get to work 
Really Cool, some nice stunts, but if you watch closely, it's not all one take. He has the camera mounted to the side for some of it and then to the top for the rest. I think I would have a hard time riding with him though.

I was always amused by the whole race car crowd and how they referred to what they do as "sport." To me sport always meant some sort of athletics and I didn't think race car driving required a lot of physical stamina . . . until I had an opportunity to go through Bob Bondurant's School back about ten years ago. I recall glancing down at the odometer (mistake) just before sliding into a hairpin turn and seeing 137 mph staring back at me. The world suddenly moved in slow motion as I thought "What the (expletive deleted) are you thinking?" Next thing I knew I was doing a 360 . . . no . . . 540 . . . no we're not through spinning yet . . . 720 . . . no . . . still spinning . . . and thinking "look at all those traffic cones flying through the air. Anyway, I got her straightened out and finished out my last three laps. After that I was done for the day. Every muscle in my body was sore. My reward - a "cone killer" ball cap and an amusing story to tell at the pub.

WOW!!! The pilot was just sitting there. I'll bet it took him a good fifteen minutes to dig the seat cover out of his azz...  That was amazing!
Patti Wagstaff is local to my area and she's an aerobatic pilot. Scary stuff. Flat spins, stalls, barrel-rolls and loops... She says she has to practice in the off-season too, or else flying makes her sick. |

I know Patti, she flys a Navy T34b (or used to) and a AEIO-580-X. I used to be a mechanic on the "FLY NAVY" T34b's in Pensacola Fl. That was another life ago. Patti is an awesome pilot. She had a stuffed dog that she kept in the back window she called WAG. Very cool!

Whew... that car vid was very interesting... but that flyer bringing home that plane was off the charts!
That really looked real.... but was it? I can't imagine someone being able to do that.
