The stunt can easily be done with a RC model plane because the power to weight ratio is high... notice at the end the pic goes blurry....where the real plane video is dubbed in... A stunt where only ONE video exists..no one else taking pics.. And anyway, I just don't see how a clean and level landing could be made without equilateral control surfaces. I'm not saying it's impossible, but ah... I've tried aerobatics but it makes me too sick but then even a tilt-a-whirl makes me sick. We trained pilots to recover from spins in all types of A/C. After going around and doing lazy 8's and turns about a point, my instructor says, "Do you know what a 'Wing-Over' is?" I replied in the negative. He said, "Would you like to see one?" Stupidly, I said, "Sure!" He took the controls and took us up to six-thousand feet, then he nosed it over and pitched us into a dive, then kicked the left rudder and we 'winged over.' At that point, he began bringing 'er out of the dive and brought it back straight and level, around fifteen-hundred feet. My face must have been green. He asked if I was okay and I said, "Sure! Each command had it's own T34B to take applicants up who wanted to be "Navy Pilots" and would see if they had the hand and eye coordination to fly.
