Take the time to get yourself checked out too. A dear friend of mine that the wife and I just went on vacation with a couple of weeks ago sat up in bed this morning at 3:00 said he didn’t feel well and fell face forward on the floor dead. You can get a heart check at Heart check America or your local doctor now for under 150 bucks. Things like this can not be stopped, but you can help minimize your chances. He was 52 and thought he was in good health. Dave, you will be missed.

My condolences Javawave. That's too young! For my 50th I went to the local hospital and had the cholesterol check done, they do a MRI of your heart, I had Zero blockage. My brother who was 58 (and a truck driver) passed away from a heart attack in April. 3 million miles accident free, god needed a good driver I guess.

GET CHECKED~! It could be the best thing you ever did for yourself and your family!

Aw, hell.... I'm sorry. My condolences to you and your wife, and to your friend's family and loved ones. Death is certainly no respecter of persons. A buddy of mine, a few years back, died in his sleep of pneumonia. When I was in the Army, we were called to the gym to pick up a fella' who was in top physical condition. He was playing basketball and leapt for a rebound. He was dead before he hit the floor, from a massive heart attack. No one could have predicted such a thing.
