Then that midlife thing kicked in. At age 40, all inside of 3 weeks, I got my permit, borrowed and practiced on a friends' bike, took a safety course and passed, added the endorsement on my CDL, and bought a brand new bike. I was determined! I'm now 44, but my 15yr old and 11 yr old daughters are keeping me feeling like I'm in my low 30's. Guess raising the kids were important to us.
