I am always amazed when I run across one of these goof-balls who reviews his own books, etc. under sock-puppet names. I've been teaching gambling seminars around the country since 2001 and am fairly well known in that gaming industry. I've always told my students that "you get me warts and all - or as Popeye so eloquently said it - I am what I am."
My number one competitor in the gaming business continually uses sock puppets to endorse his own products and to trash me on the Internet. He's basically a joke to those who are smart enough to see what he's doing. But that doesn't stop the sheeple from spending a ton of money with him.
The thing is, on the Internet you can be anybody you want to be. But when you step up to the dice table . . . or straddle a two-wheeler . . . there's no dot com to hide behind. You either are what you are - or you ain't squat.
Just my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

 Ah heck here I go...
Lets take a look at some questions.
1)What makes you a Biker? Riding a motorcycle or being in a club. Does not matter you are still a Biker.
2)What do you ride? Does not matter what you ride as long as you ride.
3)How long have you been riding? 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20+ years. Does not matter. I think it is born in us whether or not we want to be a Biker.
4)Most important how many miles and type of riding have you logged in?
( IMHO miles and type of riding outweigh years of riding)
Lets say someone is basiclly a weekend rider and refuses to ride in the rain loggin in 5,000 miles a year and someone else logs in 16,000 miles a year in rain and wind and whatever else. THEY ARE BOTH STILL BIKERS, one just has more experiance.
5)Are you a Biker or Bike enthusiast? This is a good point and what is the differnce?? I really do not know, but both are still bikers.
Here is my take on it. Obviousily a Harley Rider wrote that book. My take lets see I eat at fast food places and love Wendys, so do I write a book about fast food and single out Wendys?

If you had yourself shipped to the nearest Wendy's every time, ate a couple of french fries and made everyone else eat the rest of your food, and then wrote a book about how you were an expert on Wendy's food and said that anyone else who eats any other kind of fast food is a "wannabe," and couldn't possibly know anything about fast food, and anyone who disagreed with you or gave your book a poor review, you replied to them as "Mrs. Harper" and cried like Nancy Kerrigan, my impression of you as a fast food expert, as well as my opinion of your book, might become just a tad tarnished.

My point exactly. A harley rider wrote that book. Notice I said rider and not biker. By the way I pretty much like all fast food.(I prefer Wendys)

Yeah.. I pretty much like all motorcycles, but I'm very fond of the Road Star.
This guy claims to be a biker, and he purports to introduce n00bs into the "culture." Then he goes on at length about how he has his bike shipped to the rallies he attends.
I'm not saying that it's wrong to ship your bike, especially if you're pressed for time, and in fact, if I were going all the way to Sturgis, I'd probably have my bike shipped or trailered, too. But I don't claim to be a biker that's going to introduce new riders to the "culture."

I don't know that I consider myself a "biker." Maybe I am... My life doesn't revolve around my bike, though. Riding motorcycles is really dang cool, but it's not the coolest, most adventurous, most dangerous thing I've ever participated in.
On the other hand, there are very few things that really light me up the way a nice long ride does.

I've always considered myself a "motorcycle enthusiast". Like 'em all , love a bunch of them. All brands , all styles. Frank , sorry we can't refund you your green , but we can thank you , because we don't have to spend ours! BB
