throwin sparks 1 Month, 1 Week ago
ran across this guy's site over on RSP. I'd love to do this as I'm constantly scraping. I just hate to spend 35$ on it. video on the link. http://gmanindustries.com/product_info.php/products_id/132?osCsid=0a0181f7c00a27cba4f77b0f1cee3a47. Anyone know if we can get titanium moles for our floorboards?

That's awesome! I'm sure you could contact a local machine shop and pick up some titanium nuts, (titanium nuts? ) and use JB Weld to affix them to the outer bottom edges of your floorboards.

Not meaning any offense here, but WHY? WHY would ANYONE want to do that? I guess it would be sort of cute once at night, but what about everyday riding? Everytime you turn a corner, you drag and spark?? I don't get it

Well, it's not something I'd do to my bike, but if someone wanted to, it wouldn't be hard to do.

Yeah, but they want $35.00 for them and that's just insane.

When I just went to the link they were on sale for $24.95.
Cool but why? I lay mine into the curves and i drag a lot, i am always afraid it's going to get a good catch on something like a seam in the cement and steer me out of control, or maybe in Ohio Pot hole will momentarily stop me and cause me to drop the bike. So, having something like this on would really scare me about that. I've been so low I have drug my pipe. My butt was sucking seat cushion.

Besides, what would observers think?

I agree. As I said, it's not something I would do to my bike, but if someone wanted to do it, they could do it for a LOT cheaper than what that site wants for a pair of draggers.
