I'm considering getting a "Men's Zipper-Side Motorcycle Cruiser Jacket" #9113 or a "Classic Men's Cruiser Vented Premium Motorcycle Jackets" #B7202 What should I be looking for in a jacket and chaps to run in colder weather? (I'm 6'3" and run about 40 minutes one way.) Is the "naked leather" much better than premium cowhide, or buffalo? Is it wise to get removable armor in the elbows, shoulders and/or back? On alot of the product made in Asia and Pakistan the sizes run small. YOu might want to confirm that with them before you order. They are pricey but you can tell the difference, 1.4-1.6 naked leather, smooth as silk, with pads and liner along with a lifetime guarantee, Plus made in USA. Alot of it is made from cheap pig skin now adays (especially the pakastain or india leather). Me and my wife made that mistake and after going through the first rain of the season the jackets look like they have aged 10 years. I would suggest to fork out the bucks for some good quality leather. Might want to check out this WWW.overstock.com , the fitting is explained alittle more in detail. We have a local Leather shop here that sells mostly Motorcyle apparel, real good prices too, and I believe he sells on the web. Thanks for your help... A couple of things to keep in mind. Velcro is your friend, snaps are not fun in gloves. make sure whatever you get seals good at the neck, the wrists, and the waist. I don't believe they had the armor a couple of years ago when I got mine. I also got an electric liner to wear instead of the Thinsulate one for when it gets a bit chillier out.
