I saw these a while ago and have been meaning to post...

Anybody seen these from Michelin? Looks like they could be the future...no blowouts--ever! And NO, those illustrations are not "cutouts"--that's the way they look!

Pretty amazing...

Very cool, no blow outs, no flats, don't have to worry about running things over, will it leak, go flat.. Nice!!

I used to have an airless tube on a bicycle when I lived out in the desert (California) Could run stuff over and not have to worry about it. They can be a little bit heavier than a tire with air thou.

Cops with spike strips will have to figure out another way to stop vehicles running.

That was one of the first things I thought of... I guess they'll have to switch from spike strips to giant sheets of fly paper?

Seems like a great idea to me. I'm all for it. I'm wondering what kind of noise they make though. Think there's a whine or something as the aid moves through the area between the wheel and the tread?

A fat tired motorcycle will never look the same, that's for sure.

They Have already been working on a net system with small spikes it wraps up in the front wheels and bring the vehicle to an abrupt stop.
