Times are tough but the American spirit is tougher. I just ordered a new battery and K&N Air filter. We've got work bid, but nobody's turning loose of p.o.#'s. Got plenty of time to work on the R*, but no extra cash to buy much. Did get a super buy on ebay on a backrest pad. They put them on a 4 on and 4 off schedule after they had been working 6 days a week. Luckily I stayed the same at the 6 days but as has been said, the bad times might be coming. I sure hope not, getting ready to walk into a chevy dealership in the morning and drive out with an 09 silverado(hopefully). It was about October when our company started austerity measures. We never figured it would get this bad. For the rest of us still working we've got wage freezes, no bonus' (even if they were any) extra work, more hrs, no OT, and intermittant plant shutdowns to anticipate this year.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access.
