What do you think of this jacket? 3 Years, 3 Months ago
My current riding jacket doesn't have a zip-out liner, and it also doesn't have any armor or even much padding at all, especially in the elbows. I bought it at a secondhand store because I really needed a riding jacket. It's thick leather, but not really a motorcycle jacket, per se. It's a motorcycle-STYLE jacket and has served me well, but I'm ready for something with a higher neck, rather than the V-neck style of the traditional riding jacket, and having ventilation and a zip-out liner is a huge bonus. My current jacket has neither.

This looks like a darn good deal, to me: $104.00 and free shipping.

Jacket

Here are the features:
This is a brand new jacket made of quality leather. Jacket has five hard section pockets to hold armor., it's features include:

* Five section removable armor for back, shoulders and elbows. Armor is completely removable through Velcro locked pockets. Shoulder and elbow armor is made of injection molded plastic padded with foam. This provides superior protection compared to standard foam armor.

* Made of Genuine 1.2mm Cow Hide Leather.

* Metal Zippers used all over.

* Full sleeve zip out quilted liner for maximum comfort inside the jacket.

* Two external pockets. Checkout the hand pockets.

* Jacket also features METAL sleeve zippers.

* Dual 360 and 8" Pant attachment zippers (Both male and female parts).

* Foam around torso provides comfortable cushion between the rider and back seat rider.

* Two ventilation zippers on back around torso which can be opened up or closed for ventilation.

Looks good Frank. I don't mind soft leather...tried on a few leather jackets lately and man...they feel so hard, you feel like you're in a straight jacket.

Good to see plenty of pockets.

Me? lol Nope. It is a nice jacket Frank. For the $5 bucks more to buy it now I would if you like it rather than let someone bid and the buy it now price go away. (which it does) then you may end up paying more for it in a bid situation.

I tell ya. Give a man some responsibility and he turns into a wheeler dealer right before your eyes. JW, don't forget to add a handling charge too.

I was going to bill that as a surcharge after the agreement was signed.

It's a nice jacket, but I went for more of a cruiser style as opposed to street bike...but I'm fat & old & I just look wrong in a street style jacket.

Naked Cowhide Leather Pistol Pete MC Jacket

This is the one I got and I LOVE it! HUGE pocket in front for your MP5 or any other hogleg , zip out Thinsulate liner with a built-in neckwarmer for the winter, and air vents in front and under the arms for summer. If cruiser jackets are your style, I give this one a big two thumbs up!

Looks nice. I am in the market for a jacket too. This looks like a pretty good deal. Maybe I will get the orange and black...
