If you get popping out the exhaust on decel at around 1500-2000 rpm then you need to turn the PMS out.

When it's too rich and you blip the throttle the rpms will drop a bit before rising.

I get popping on accel when she's cold. Guess this is normal. I ride with the choke out until she's warm. Supposed to be near 80 this week.

hey Dave,
we must have been thinking alike, yep Michigan was what felt like warm yesterday, was out scrapping the snow off the driveway and a little bit of ice... figured would fire up the Roadie, and next thing I new was out for a nice little ride before the Superbowl, so the 15 minute ride cost me about an hour of wiping down of the bike but worth it...

Happy with stage 1 also.I could tell that it was breathing like it should.
Can anyone tell me what symptom it will have if it needs a PMS adjustment?

Dave, when you say your bike is new, do you mean an '08 or '09?

If so, you don't have a PMS to adjust.

well I always remember what I am missing, just try and keep busy to not think about it..
and keep the bike ready for any day that might give the chance to get out and do a little scootin around.. but can't wait for real weather to do some real riding...
