A big thank you to Slezy.. Got a nice surprise from delivery driver when I got home. A Sturgis bell and Road Star Clinic patch from a very good 'fair dinkum' mate in Michigan.

The bell is going onto the Roadie this afternoon, along with the bell gifted by Frank (double protection) and the patch is going to take pride of place on my vest next week.

Much appreciated Slezy... from a mate in Oz.

I do have a Riders Bell , and it was sent to me by RON (Makcap) and boy do I like it , it is not that I have a bell it is the gesture that makes this gift special , he found out that I recently lost a brother (a very dear friend of mine from my MC) and he contacted me and asked for my address , and he sent me my Riders Bell , dude you freaking Rock !!

It really really made my day , and like I said . . . it makes it even better that it was a gift from the heart from a fellow rider , RON you have made yourself a life time friend , C'mon down to the land of Tequila and Señoritas

Did I mentioned that I love my Bell ?? hehehe thnks

Re:Do you have a riders bell 4 Years, 3 Months ago
A local buddy bought me my bell whem I bought my R* a couple years ago. I really took it to heart, but didn't realize he didn't have one himself. About a year ago he was on his way home from Las Vegas, between Wikiup and Kingman, AZ at dusk, and a cager was making a stupid pass coming towards him over the crest of a hill, on a stretch of 2-lane highway. My buddy (on his Vulcan) went off the right shoulder, tried to surf it out by laying it down on the left side, and everything went to hell from there. His wife called me when the helicopter took off from the scene, and I met him at the hospital where he was air-evac'd, with his bell in my pocket. He survived, and is back on his new bike. He kept that bell hung on the traction bar in the hospital, and now it's on his bike in a place of honor.

PS - the cager never stopped, and witnesses were unable to get the plate number off the car.

Keep the rubber on the road,
