Buying OEM Parts 3 Years, 3 Months ago
Some of you may already be aware of this site, but I just found it and by ordering the OEM parts I needed for my Vulcan project (gaskets, seals, etc...) from them at a claimed 40% discout, I saved myself a little more than $18 verses the next cheapest site, which claim they offer a 25% discount. And I probably saved closer to $30 if not more had I gone through the local dealer. (The quick math tells me I probably saved around $27.20 vs the dealer price...) I know there are those that say you should support your local dealers/businesses, but when they are so much more expensive and they have to order the parts too (unless it says HD on it somewhere, they very seldom have it in stock), I may as well cut out the middle man so to speak and save some money...

Anyway, here it is; http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/

Good to know, but I am one who will pay more to support local businesses and the tax base. I would rather wait for them to order it, and a lot of the time, even if it's not a big job, I'll ask them to install it too. Might sound frivilas, but I like when people use my company for product and service even thou they can get it for a couple of buck cheaper on the internet.

Taxes pay for Road, Firemen, Police and I need those services, or at least I want them to be there when I do need them.
