I'm going to the steel shop tomorrow. The lag are definitely too short. I feel so stupid! I have connections around here but not this kind... the steel raw might cost upwards of $150-200 but the legs from the company are gonna be $150ea starting!

Anyone who has done mods has felt that way.

I certainly have duplicates of the some of the parts I've added.

Well guys you at least make me feel a little better... lol. I went to the steel shop and I'm looking at $300 for just the metal, but I'll have enough to do it a couple times! This sucks! It set me behind schedule again, as if I had a schedule to begin with. I have the cash to get the materials but doesn't look like I'll be getting he seat made for a while now.

I piddle with bikes , trucks , cars , if it's got wheels and needs oil , I'm interested. If you saw the amount of scrap metal from the "maybe this one will finally work" pile I've made for myself , You'd feel better for sure. BB

I bet we could see your pile from space...

We all have that pile of "do-overs". I could almost build a really screwed up bike out of my pile...

I just used the word "pile" in the last three sentences. Oh, wait. Now it's four!
