Dude I am glad your bike is ok,...what a bs thing to have happen, and the people who saw it and did nothing????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!! what happen to integrity, or just the right thing to do?.....I am in shock,..really irritates me, especially the people who just watched and did nothing, wouldnt want to be in a burning building with that crowd.

Funny that you should mention that... the guy I work with is a partner of mine at my job as a firefighter. Can't believe he didn't do anything

I think I would call the shop and see if they have video. I would have them save it for PD and get that SOB. People like that only get braver and will do it again till they get tagged. If it's the shop I'm thinking of I think they do have video.

you said the guy that told you worked at the shop? he should have ran out and at least gotten the tag number its their lively hood and they should treat their customers bikes as if they are theirs... I wouldn't bring any business back there i think they are just as much at fault maybe they need to have a parking area just for bikes....

Two possibilities as I see it, 1..the driver didn't see your bike, (not unusual as we all know) and hit it without knowing it. or 2...he knew he hit it and didn't give a damn...I would hope it was the first...
Third possibility: Most people think that every one one a bike is a some sort of a hitman, so you runner was probably scared. And rightly so

I woulda chased him down and stomped his a$$...I know violence isnt the answer, I got it wrong on purpose. and YES I really would have went after him. Of course when you catch him hes gonna claim he didnt know he hit your bike...I would choke some cash outta him right there on the spot.

If I didn't catch him, I'd think he was at the shop to buy something so someone knows who he was, if he paid with a CC or was talking to a sales person, someone had a name.

My sister was attacked by two low life's close to Christmas in the middle of the mall parking lot, she was fighting for her purse and screaming and 20 or so 'Body Builders' doing in and out of the gym just looked on. She was anti gun before that, now shes a packing NRA and refuse to be a victim instructor.

Bystanders will look at everything but see nothing. Your on your own today.

easyrider003 -- that sucks!

Don't know how bad the damage is to your lights. I have the stock rear light setup from my 2003 hanging in my garage. If you need to replace the light housings, I could set you up. You pay shipping and they are yours.
