I don't know about that "intercom" thingy, I bought the loud exhaust so I wouldn't have to hear the passenger's rants (wife).

Either your are a brave man or your wifed doesn't know about the Clinic.....

"Knocking helmets" would be a treat for me.

Actually, the wife doesn't mess with forums and such. What she doesn't know won't hurt me.

Buddy of mine had an amish guy make him a 3 pocket leather winshield bag.. very nice with studs. Looks original. Then they cut out the outside pouches to hold 3 inch ..(or whatever size they are)...marine speakers. Put an am/fm pioneer down in the center pouch. Put holes in the bottom so the wiring could run through.. mounted a small rubber antenna on the luggage rack. (hardly noticable) Tucked the coax and done. You cant really tell theirs a radio on it, which is what he wanted. Myself, I like the pipes. But on those long runs by yourself... kinda nice to hear some Segar or Stevie Ray cranked up.

Hey blackroadie, Thats a good idea. I've gone back and forth with this idea now since I got the bike. I was thinking of a quick de-tach fairing, but the wife doesn't want one because they are "ugly". I'm not to sure of the quality of those "bolt on" speakers. I have a armband AM/FM radio with earphones that I use when I go to the gym. I might just end-up doing that when I go on long rides...

Post edited by: snowman48, at: 2007/02/18 12:23

Yep... I'm thinking of doin' the exact same thing to mine. It looks great ..you really cant tell there are speakers in the outside pouches unless you really look. The whole thing blends right in with his silverado. The amish guy charged him 50 bucks for the pouch. Cant even buy a leather single for that. He had the radio lying around, went out and bought the speakers from the local boat shop. Said he had less than 90 bucks in all of it.

Has anybody tried to fit the Harley radio on yet. Its a am/fm, weatherband, and a misc spot for a ipod or whatever. Comes with everything for 800bucks But it looks to have good quality.
