Great idea. Could have found an untapped market.

Just got back from a 170.9 mile loop to Pahrump,NV.and back to do a Sea Foam
shock treatment.Went from the 10W40 Mobil One I`ve been running this winter to the Mobil One V-Twin 20w50.Also used the smaller Oil filter from Walmart.
Did 70mph steady as much as I could and got 39.7 mile per gallon.Put in 4.3 gallons so had a whole gallon left.At the middle of the loop took her to 110MPH.
 Damn!!! I love this Bike!!!

I'm envious!
I put my Yami Big Bars on earlier, sure wish I'da had another set a hands trying to wedge em between the down tubes. I coulda gotten the ol lady to help but she's laying down not feeling well and I didn't have the heart to ask her. Finally got em on, they're sweet. Now all I need is some highway pegs to put on em. Well, the highway pegs and about 30 more degrees in temp!

No fishin in my boat!!!!!!!! She's more of a speed/ski type boat. Wanna buy it? It's been for sale for a year. Unfortunately you can buy a brand new Bayliner for less than my used SeaRay.

I thought Musky used a Popeal Pocket Fisherman! Or maybe the new Roland Martin Lure Launcher. This may be the year I buy a 4 piece fly rod so I can ride the bike to go trout fishing...... That would be two of my 3 favorite things to do, then if I could get the kids in bed early enough after getting home I could take care of all 3!

Hi,
I got an 04 and I just ran down the road a while. If I was taking it real easy with the twist'n I get 32 mpg, If I run in the hammer lane at 85 I get 22 mpg. I have a Saturn Vue that gets 24!
The thing is the R* starts perfect, idles perfect, runs great, decelerates good, Never pops back thru the carb or back fires thru the exhaust. Go Figure?
I think I'll try some sea foam.

Tusler,
What do you have in the carb, air kit and pipes?
Your profile doesn't have any info on your scoot.

Just returned from a 2 week trip from Minnesota to Oregon Coast and wanderings in between 5057 miles total. Burned 111.5 galons of 85-87 octane fuel averaged 45.4 mpg. Adjusted my float and went back to stock jet before my trip. Prior to working on the carb I was getting low 30's for mileage so it was worth the effort, thanks to advice from Musky. I did some testing on the way back, filled up with premium gas in Buffalo Wyoming and kept up with traffic 80 mph and mileage went to 34.0 Filled with regular gas and ran again at 80 and mpg went to 33.2 so not much difference. My best mileage consistantly was in the mountains. Some days I crossed a couple of passes in Montana that were 7200 ft and my mileage was in the low 60's. For the most part in the mountains I received 52 mpg and in the flatland I was at 42 mpg. Why the big difference?
It was a great trip and only had to stop and tighten a couple of bolts holding my exhause pipes.
