I put on a stage 1 exhaust yesturday that I bought on ebay back in November, but between the cold weather and my broken finger I just got to it recently. I LOVE IT!!! Sounds throaty and deep. I didn't want it too loud ( I still have my stock exhaust) and wasn't sure if I would like it. I know all you guys have posted videos of the different stages of exhaust but my computer speakers just didn't do it justice. Sounds nice---like "thunder in the hills" but not too overly obnoxsious (spelling). I just want to thank you guys and gals for all the mods and stuff I'm thinking of doing. Relocate the fuel pump, maybe eliminate it along with the AIS, and buy more chrome. My friends--if you are ever in MD around the Baltimore Area---or Ocean City (with advance notice) let me know--LET"S RIDE___ VROOM VROOM Ronnie in Balt

I bought a stage 1 stock Roadstar exhaust---stock exhaust drilled out--first stage- from ebay and I'm really glad. I wanted to see what it sounded like--and right now I'm happy---but I know that it will get quieter as my ears loose their sensitivity---but for now it's awesome--and I like the look of the stock exhaust. Ronnie, I'm coming out that wsy in July (mid to late). My girlfriend is from DC (Kensington) and we are taking her daughter out to live with her father in SMD (Leonard town). I might swing up through PA to see my son, he lives near Scranton PA with his mom, he's 15. We will have both the bike and cage, and might split in DC, she'll go south to Leonard Town while I go north to PA. No real set plans, yet, might get in some camping. I can get a campsite or cabin in Solomon's Island campground, I'm retired Navy. Send me a PM, with contact info, I'll try to look you up when I'm out there. Don

Hey Don---darn oldie-- look me up--I sent you a PM with my contact info. So you are a cheese head??---a purple people eater fan--Vikings??? Yea I bet you hate my GIANTS. And I know where Scranton PA is--my parents had a house and land in Beach Lake---east of Honesdale a while back, right near the Delaware River and Narrowsburg NY. Maybe if you send me detailed info I can ride with you about 1/2 way until we split and I head for NYC and you head north to Scranton---I visit NYC every once in a while---born and raised there--glad for that--real glad I'm out!!!! But still maintain my friendships there---what a great city--it never ever sleeps!!!!! Get back with me and VROOM VROOM

I went to stage 3 about a year ago. It's a little louder and deeper in sound, not obnoxious. I love the look of the stock set up also. No regrets.

Bring lawyers guns and money---stage 1 works for me right now--is stage 3 much louder?? I like the sound of stage 1-- deep with authority. I don't want loud --just wanted to get away from the "sewing machine" sound--and a lttle respect---and also---is all gas going to 10% ethenol--hard to find staions that don't do the ethenol thingie--maybe a new post idea--I think I'll do that

funny thing--after putting on my Stage 1 exhaust---I started her up--sounded great from the back--but had a bad rattle from the front---after further investigation found my front fender guard-(that chrome piece----oops not another chrome piece!!!)-had broke a weld--was fine last time I rode her--so I took it off--looks cleaner---so now I have a clean front fender!!
