You started this by asking for no wise guy comments and every one has played nice.......

All I know is there isn't a van (pulling a trailer) in the whole world that would beat me there on my Roadie! Road Hawg you have a great looking bike, share it with the world as you flash by! And if your brothers can't keep up they need a Roadie too!

Seriously, have a great trip!!!

Featherlite makes nice trailers...My dad just bout a 44ft all aluminum Racecar trailer and rigged it for bikes. He can load 8 full size cruisers. Bought it drug it hope rigged it loaded it up and headed to NJ to load the bikes out a cruise ship. The cruise is 14 days long they stop at 7 island and ride on each island. Now that looks sweet. I'm not at all jealous at all

Just FYI for anyone who may rent the "Funky Little Trailer" or "Motorcycle Trailer" from U-Haul, I measured the one up at the rental place and with the ramp up it was about 2 inches too short for the bike to fit in. Not sure if it was just this trailer, but before any one rents this just make sure it will fit before. It was too short for mine.

My idea of trailering a R* is pulling a trailer!

When are you going to paint that trailer to match your scoot?

For what ever its worth to anyone, the small "golf cart" type of tires seem to do pretty well. I bought a pontoon boat trailer with those on it and was a little concerned as well. After 4 years of use there hasnt been an issue yet, the little buggers are pretty stout. Check and see the rating on them if you use them, the ones I have are 10 ply load range E, which is 1520 lb. each. As for the torsion vs. leaf, what I have experiences is the torsion rides much smoother. My father has an enclosed Haulmark car trailer with them as well as the boat trailer I have. Actually seems to be a smoother ride than my open car trailer with leaf springs. Not that you need the information now, just thought someone else might like it........
