Well, the directions are crap. I'll get it all set up, this evening. It can be mounted so taht it rests on the passenger seat, or the luggage rack, right?

THat all depends on your bike and the mounting system, I have different model and it had Bars, it would mount both ways. Seat or rack. ANy sissy bar pack I ever seen would go both ways.

Okay.... Odd question: This thing comes with about fifty-thousand nylon straps with buckles. What the hell are they for? Also, there's one BIG female buckle on the bottom of the bag, but none of the male couplers are big enough. (Come to think of it, it reminds me of a girl I used to know....) *cough*

What the hell is that big ol' coupler for??

Bring the bag to a camping supply store, around here i would do a Gander Mountain, Get a male that fits it, (They only come in Black) It may come with a strap, if so buy a buckle too and you can make a strap that fastens to the bike and your female clip will go into that and really hold it on for the fast take offs.

Saddleman gets their stuff from overseas, and that bag may be part of another system and that bag would clip into a bag below it.

I have the oversea model and my female part is much smaller.
