Last summer a local kid finally got his "american" chopper put together and immediatly started tearing around playing badass and hitting the bars. He came wobbling up to a 4 way stop, obviously drunk, and yelled as I rode by to "Buy a f*****g Harley, you pu***y". Of course it pissed me off, I wanted to yank his scrawny butt right off that bike. But, the next day I read in the paper that he crashed a few miles further down the road and now he's paralized from the neck down. I feel bad for the kid, but his attempt to live up to his idea of "the image" ruined his life. Anymore people say crap like that to me, I just smile. I know what's real and what's not, if they're lucky, maybe someday they'll figure it out, but I'll be damned if I need to explain it to them. To hell with them, just ride. More time in the saddle and more miles on your bike is all the comeback you need. Those who get it know who the real ones are, you can't hide a fake no matter how much leather you dress 'em up in.
