Amen on the ziplocks....learned as a scoutmaster to roll clothes...put in ziplocks and squeeeeeze the air out. Packs lots better...the heck with wrinkles..ha. Trip out to Tenn last month had clothes for a week, extra boots, etc... in tall sissybar bag, toolkit, and change of clothes, raingear in saddlebags. Much easier when traveling solo, unless she is drivin' the truck...ha. Oh...don't forget sunscreen where ya can find it...I am still peeling from the burn I got on day one...wore gloves the rest of the trip too. Ride Safe!

My idea of a fully loaded ride is both credit cards in my wallet.

Heh, my fully loaded involved myself being fully loaded and the resulting mistake riding b***h. At least its a funny story... now. Wasn't so funny last year. Here's my bike actually loaded riding the Going to the Sun Highway in Glaciar National Park (MT) last year. Loaded Pony

Cowboys like us sure do have fun racin the wind, chasin the sun. We'll take the long way around back to square one. Today we're just outlaws out on the run. There'll be no regrets, no worries and such, for cowboys like us.

My new sissybar bag.. [/quote]

Darn, Thats the same bag I ran with last week when we left from Denver and went to Vegas. Riding 2 up it held 6 days of clothes for me and the wife along with 3 pairs of her shoes. Used the saddle bags for rain gear, leather coat, guns,(mine and hers) and still was able to put 4 t-shirts into the thing that we bought in Vegas. You will love the bag. oh, and it rained on us for the last 3 1/2 hours home from Vail Pass all the way to North Denver and everyhing in the Saddleman was totaly dry!
