Here's my loaded bike for an 11 day camping trip, I have about 55 lbs. of stuff loaded on, including some cold weather gear for going over the mountain passes, see if I can get the pic uploaded...I can resize the pic but I can't get the pc to save the resizing...

Heres a pic wifey took on a rest break in Marion, IL on another one of our "liitle jaunts" around the country. Bags are FULLY loaded with a variety of things ncluding a laptop and clothes (3 days worth each). My jacket is rolled up on top of the bag (you can see the skull patch) her jacket is draped over a tour master leather tour pack with a top roll containing clothes, cold weather gear, bike cover, sea foam, map book, sunblock,K-Bar, toiletries etc...think somewhere I have a pic without her jacket over the tour pack...will have to look

Viking, do you add Seafoam to every fillup? I was thinking of taking a bottle with me on my trip.

Darn,
I know what you mean, but it was stable. Most of the stuff on top was light. Even with a few days of rain, I had packed about twice as much stuff as I needed. It was a learning experence. I pack much lighter now, but it is still hard to find room for my laptop, wireless router and satelite dish.

If you can fit it in yer pack its not a bad idea. I wouldnt say you would "need" it but I put in a couple of ounces about every 3 tanks or so. Seems to help a bit I guess. Fully loaded riding 2 up motoring along at 80mph or so and getting 44+ mpg...call me OCD, its just something I have done for a long time

I've only used it on one tankful but I did notice a difference & was thinking about taking some along with me, I think I'll try the same thing as you & add a little every 3rd tank or so. Thx for the input.
