Re:Thank god for crash bars. 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Some guy tried to merge with my wife on the road one day until she started kicking his door and then he either thought better about the idea of merging. Or thought better about pissing her off and therefor myself. And a few days later he almost did it again but was quicker to stay out of her lane. I think if we road neon billboards that don't hit me as long as it has 2 wheels they still won't see us. Hell I have had less people trying to kill me over here in Iraq than I did driving to work at 5am. Remember ride paranoid.

Give serious consideration to a Stebel horn; it will wake up the cagers trying to run you off the road!

Glad to hear that your injuries weren't too severe. Hope that you're up and riding again soon.

The horn sounds (no pun intended) like a good idea.

Just more reason to always be careful. It can happen at any time to anyone.

riding a bike is dangerous, treat every time you ride as if it could kill you, slow for every intersection, if someone is tailgaiting you slow down a little to allow the lane in front of you to open up, they will pass, do not ride beside anyone, slow down or speed up, they will pull over on you, watch the other cars as if they are rattlesnakes, dont drive fast, leave earlier, enjoy the ride, live longer ride longer,
