Lets play nice.
I ride in a yamaha star group and we have a couple of guys who switched to Harleys and they receive plenty of bashing from the Yamaha owners. Just depends on the majority. Why stoop to a low level?
Remember it doesn't matter what you ride it's the fact that you DO ride.

I personally don't think my Roadie vibrates that bad but then again i have only ridden a few Harleys a little bit. As far as the sound mine sounds as good or better than a HD but thats just me and the people i know. I joke with my Brother about not riding behind his HD for fear of having to dodge parts (dyna). My wife won't stand behind my bike when it's running because I revved it up and shot a rock into her shin.

Motorcycles kick ass!! I love 'em all...

Just watch, though: The Chinese are turning out a very cheap cruiser-style bike and exporting it to the US. I've seen a few of 'em already. Within the next decade, they are certain to become more ubiquitous. I wonder how many Kawi, Honda, and Yami riders are going to join in the bash-fest that's sure to ensue...

Don't eat your bike. It does NOT taste like chicken, and getting down on your knees and licking the hot exhaust because you are so in love with it, will only end in lots of pain, terrible blisters, and an unscheduled trip to the burn clinic.

Not sure where you are saving an extra $14000 over a Harley. The Road* Silverado is the competitor to the Heritage Softail Classic. The Road* Silverado lists for $14099 and the Heritage lists for $17999 which is only a $3900 difference.

I own both an 08 Road* Silverado S and an 09 Ultra Classic and they are both great bikes. I don't care what anyone rides as long as they are riding. I've always felt that anyone that bashes another brand is somewhat envious of the brand they are bashing.
