I ride in a yamaha star group and we have a couple of guys who switched to Harleys and they receive plenty of bashing from the Yamaha owners. Just depends on the majority. Why stoop to a low level? Remember it doesn't matter what you ride it's the fact that you DO ride. As far as the sound mine sounds as good or better than a HD but thats just me and the people i know. I joke with my Brother about not riding behind his HD for fear of having to dodge parts (dyna). Just watch, though: The Chinese are turning out a very cheap cruiser-style bike and exporting it to the US. I've seen a few of 'em already. Within the next decade, they are certain to become more ubiquitous. The Road* Silverado is the competitor to the Heritage Softail Classic. The Road* Silverado lists for $14099 and the Heritage lists for $17999 which is only a $3900 difference. I own both an 08 Road* Silverado S and an 09 Ultra Classic and they are both great bikes. I don't care what anyone rides as long as they are riding.
