The presumption is that the person drinking is always at fault. Take the same situation - say driving on a multi-lane semi-urban road with a shopping center. I'm driving/riding in the curbside lane, going a little above the speed limit, but within the normal flow of traffic. A car pulls out into the flow of traffic and I slam on the brakes but still hit him.

Well, the guy pulling out is at fault, right? Well he would be unless I've been drinking.

Not trying to make excuses, or justifying/defending the ruleing in these cases. Just explaining the reality that may (or may not) have something to do with either of these scenarios.

Subject: Floorboard Extensions
Roadstar_Rob: I'm looking to extend my driver boards out away from the bike. All of the extensions I've come across are for moving them forward. Anyone familiar with extension mod to set them out wider? Thanks, Rob
