clutch push lever problem 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago

was working on the new bike today and I lost the clutch. I took off the jocky shift that was on the bike when i got it and reinstalled the factory linkage. the original push lever assembly was turned into the jocky shift lever and i was trying to move the bike and used the modified assembly to clutch the bike. and out of the blue it stopped working and feels like it just spins in the case. anyone ever have this happen? I looked at a yahama parts list on a web site and both the push lever and push lever axle are back ordered making me think there must be an issue....

any feed back would be thanks...

my guess it's the opposite it's not stocked because it's not usually a problem. but I could be wrong

This would be a guess but the clutch push rod might have snapped. I don't think the rod and lever would be a problem. The only way to know for sure would be order the gasket and open it up. Unless someone else might have a suggestion. You won't be able to reuse that gasket. Sorry I could be any more help keep us posted.
