Well my wife went and got her beginners then completed her abate of Indiana safety program two weeks ago. She is so excited about riding her own bike and for the last two weeks she has ran me all over Indiana to look and sat on alot of bikes, and she still feels the v-star 250 is for her (at least the first year of riding). We found a super clean 08 with 800 miles on it for 2400. The girl that was selling it was about the same size of my wife. She wanted something bigger and just bought a small Vulcan so they talked for awhile about the little scoot while i took it for a ten mile ride. I felt like a kid again (in reality a fat man on a moped). Not much get up and go with a 220lb man on it but i got her up to 65mph. Brought it back and told her what i felt. She rode it and decided that it was her's. So we pick it up Saturday. She has read everybody's replies on this topic over and over and wanted me to thank you guys again for your imput.
