A buddy of mine sent me this pic of a homemade trike that was taken at a Lowe's somewhere in Mississippi. It appears that this guy took a Ford Escort front- & rear-end, slapped them together & attached his old Yamaha(?) front-end to the hood & uses the Escort's front-wheel-drive engine & transaxle to power it. It's ugly, but resourceful!  |

I met that guy that builds trikes in Arkansas at a rally. His trikes are kinda crude, but he rides them everywhere and they have some real interesting "Down home" engineering. I think they are great! Also, he's a real nice ole' country boy. I think he's what it's all about. He takes some parts and creates something that he likes and rides the fool out of it!  |
