Is this as good as it gets? 2 Years, 3 Months ago
I have parked the Road* for the winter now, but the last few days I got some very nice rides in. Weather is cool, but dry and clear. I was just cruisin down some back roads, the Roadie's powerful V-Twin thrumming away, engine running perfect, and I was listening with great pleasure to the mesmerizing sound of the 2 into 1 pipes. God, it was nice. If this is as good as it gets, I'll take it! Gladly!
And I can only hope everyone else enjoys their Road* as much as I do.
Best as always, Woody

Woody, I thought I was the only one that felt that way. The Weather here in Florida is cooling down expecially in the evening as the sun goes down I just dont want the ride to ever end it's Breathtaking.

It doesnt matter whether im tooling down a country road or got her wound up going down the interstate. Whatever works, as long as I get to ride. Always better with good company tho. If I get a weekend up here in Indiana in the winter where its 30 or 35 degrees I may me out putting around. Hate to leave her parked for too long. Seems every summer I have more and more crap going on and my ride time gets less and less. Have to start making mor time I suppose!

I try and ride a little each month no matter how cold it gets, as long as the roads are clear and dry. There is nothing more exhilarating than a cold winters ride. Of course I dress for the cold. And the cages look at you like there is something wrong in your head.
Yeah there’s something wrong way wrong and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yep. 76 in Sacramento yesterday. I have six to eight more weeks of ride time before it gets too cold/wet to commute. Ride safe.

Expecting upper 60's low 70 this weekend with clear sunny skies, guess where I'll be?
The only thing I have to really watch out for this time of year is piles of wet leaves, some roads are covered with wet leaves and I can tell you they are SLIPPERY! Took a tumble last fall on some wet leaves and I don't want to do that again.

The Wisconsin back roads this time of year are AWESOME.
