Just my 2 cents, but I did the same thing to one of my bikes years ago. It came out very nice, but whenever it got a little dirty, it was difficult to clean without messing up the finish. You could get the dirt off, but it came out "scuffed" looking, and I had to re-paint a couple of times. It might just be me, I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my bikes. Otherwise, the look is nice on certain rides. Good luck with it.
