Shamrock: Did you happen to use Paypal?? I had a similar incident awhile back. I ordered two Fiamm Horns with the wiring relay kit. When they arrived they were Flosser 3.5 inch horns GALVANIZED. Boy was I hot. I first wrote them that they were the wrong horns, and definetely not going on my bike. I refused to pay to ship them back. I then get a email from them saying they had a stock change, and hadn't had time to update the auctions. Send them back, and they would refund my money plus the shipping back through paypal.
I started getting a little hot when two weeks later still no money, and they had got the package back via USPS confirmation tracking. Well, I was then informed they only refund two times a month.
Finally around the end of the month the reversal came back to my account to paypal.

Ebay looks the otherway on what they use to call a "PRE-Sale" clause which was only available back in 2000 between a manufacturer direct sale to the public. Now ebay looks the other way and lets the sellers do exactly what they did to you. Take your order, and then wait for the stock to come in. If they don't deliver with in thirty days you can report them to the Attorney Generals office in your state, and the sellers state. I am sure you left them a negative already??

Yes I did use paypal which is a joke, because when you click on the resolution center in paypal it just links right back to eBay. They had the nerve to tell me they weren't related back when I had a dispute over a truck I bought about 4 years ago. Anyway, I am jumping through the hoops and am playing the waiting game right now. The seller has 8 days to respond. I am sure these guys know that and will wait the full 8 days. I haven't left negative feedback yet because I want to see how it plays out first. I sell alot on eBay and companies like this just make it more difficult for everyone to trust the sellers. Oh well, thanks for the advice and I will let you know how it plays out.

Just an update on this seller. More of the same B.S. Now instead of their shipper being sick for the last 2 weeks (which was a lie b/c according to their feedback they have sold and shipped out items just about everyday for last few weeks), the person in charge of refunds (which is a different person) is now in the hospital. I have a feeling they are just going to stroke me off until they are able to get the item from their supplier. Again just a reminder - DO NOT BUY FROM BIKER-TRENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
