I just use the Mobil 1 V-Twin Synthetic Oil. Can't remember it's Weight, but you can't go wrong.

Rotella T Synthetic... good for bikes... 5w-40. $19 for a 4qt. jug at Wally*World.

It'll work just fine. If you ride in fair weather, and steer clear of the really cold weather, and only a few of the nuts here don't, you only need to concern yourself with the upper number, and a 40 or a 50 is just fine.

For those winter riding NUT-JOBS, they need to concern themselves with the lower number.

I have always ran 20W-50 in all my v-twins and have never had a problem.

There are a lot of previous strings on oil, but caution on 20W/50 oils not specifically for Motorcyle wet clutch applications as they have friction modifiers in them and can affect the clutch. Check out the other strings on oil.
Me personally I use Mobil 1 V Twin and it is 20W /50.

I see you are in Colorado, which has 4 seasons; I would go with 10/40. In Florida since I avoid the cold and that "white fluffy stuff" I use 20/50.
