is there a trick to removing the primary drive cover? any help would be great thanks!

Smack it with a rubber hammer after all the bolts are out and pull like hell there a dowels that hold it in place.

umm is that to knock it off the seal, I didnt even think of that i do have it loose and it seems to be hung up on something this sound right? its loose enough for me to get my fingers behind it but something is hanging up and keeping me from completely removing it

Yes there is no gasket but the dowels are really tight. Nice tight fit and machining.

man it was a bitch getting the cover off, when i got this bike it had a suicide clutch on it in the process of switching it back a buddy of mine over indexed the axle,push lever and was wedged against the rod it normally drives in and out we had to use a long pry bar place it up against the axel,push lever and hammer it off...

is there any trick to putting it all back together?

I'm waiting on the new parts now and will be assembling it all this week one day so i figured i would try to find out now
