I hope that your shifts are safe and that you get to school soon. I loved my fire career and don't regret the two higher paying jobs I left. I already work full time for one city, this new job will also be full time work on my first day off from the other department. My wife is in college to be a dietician/nutritionist and has about 1.5 years left. With her school schedule, she can only work 4 hours per week, so I am having to take over her bills also. Now I am just waiting on her to graduate school, so I can attend medic school. My ultimate goal is to get my paramedic license and then continue to work full time at 1 fire department and also work part time as a flight medic here locally.
