#264337 Bushman52 (User) American by birth...Southern by the grace of God. Platinum Boarder Posts: 1777 Godspeed Sgt. Owens 2 Years, 2 Months ago   I attended a PGR mission yesterday for Army Sgt. Vince Owens. Sgt. Owens died from wounds he suffered in an ambush March 1st. in Afganastan. He was 21 yrs. old and from Keota Oklahoma. The PGR escort was over a mile and a half long, there was well over 300 bikes. The people of Spiro liked the streets saluting and waving flags. Police from both Ok and Ar lead the procession and guarded the intersections. He was buried at the National Cemetary in Fort Smith with full military honors.It was a very emotional and moving experience. Just felt like I needed to share this with someone. Godspeed Sgt.
