I met the mechanic today and he's a nice older gentlemen who rides a roadliner and been a wrench for over two decades. He put me at ease so next Tuesday we will see what happens. Also get your tire man to agree upfront to handle any warranty issues that hopefully will not arrive. I have had to replace two sets of 880 white walls for cracking sidewalls on the 1st set and a bulge in the sidewall of the second set in less then 14 months...I have now gone back to Dunlop. My Metzlers were made in Brazil. It may have something to do with my tendency to accelerate quickly, but I am not in any way abusive--no burnouts or anything close to that. If I have a problem with the tires or anything else I know for a fact he will take care of it! It snowed big time tuesday but it's mostly melted now. It was 44deg. when I took it for a 25 mi test ride. I like them, felt weird having traction under me again.
