I work in a hospital, and last week I got on the elevator. There was a younger guy (mid-30's) on the elevator all decked out in the HD gear- t-shirt, hat, shades, leather jacket, boots and HD scowl. An HD ad-campaign biker to the nines. He had a very fine looking woman with him similarly decked out in the HD goods. I remarked to him that he looked like he really rode, and didn't just wear the t-shirt..."Yup.", he replied with the scowl. A co-worker on the elevator with me asked if he had ridden to the hospital (it was a gorgeous early-spring day) "Nope", "Too cold", he replied. She then asked him if he rode a lot, and he replied that he did, "I've ridden 4 hours already this season"... I had to get off the elevator quickly before he saw me laughing. I'm not brand-bashing, but bashing our love of accoutrements of being a "biker"..... I did see the same guy out yesterday on a beautiful Ultraglide with the same uber-fine woman on the back, so he's probably up to 6 hours this season already I had to sneak a second look at his girl- there is definitely something about a gorgeous brunette in full leathers with legs up to here that gets your engine running...
